So... less than a year until Brexit, no sign of a deal, no sign of what a deal might look like... are all the Vote Leave people still happy with their decision?

And before you answer that, think of the UK as a whole. I don't really see Brexit doing anything bad for me (other than needing a passport to travel around Europe, which given that I don't have aspirations to work there isn't personally much of an issue) but there's far more to the UK than me and people like me.

I voted remain - wish I put a bet on to leave the EU as the returns were big!!!

But I did see some videos and read articles about how leaving might actually be beneficial and I thought this might actually be good if done right.

Fast forward back to present day - still paying millions on surveys, scandals and I have to agree with Ekona that it probably wouldn't make much of a difference in or out!

I'm wondering if anyone has changed their minds about how they voted in the referendum.

I still think Remain was the right way to vote.

The inability of our politicians and negotiators to actually negotiate something that can be agreed upon, even if it isn't universally liked, annoys me.
Don't know how the same people will be able to get a deal for the UK that will improve our prospects.

I haven't changed my mind about the EU and would vote to leave again. However, I have changed my mind about politicians. I thought they were on the whole, humans who wanted to do good for other humans. Now I know they are worthless, self serving incompetents that don't seem to understand or care that they are affecting the lives of actual people while they play stupid one-upmanship games with each other. I suspect I'll abstain from the next general election because I can't trust any of them.

And now I'm like FFS because of all the political hoo hah - All that's happening are these Politicians are lining their own pockets no matter which side of the fence they are.

Fucking hell I was tired of all these 'meaningful votes'.
How can it be meaningful if you keep asking the same question every time you're rejected?

One of my ex schoolfriends is a Labour member and posted a pic on his FB saying all racists voted Brexit.
Straightaway people get defensive saying don't tar everyone with the same brush.
Most of them probably did but then tarring everyone with the same brush is exactly the example I dont want to follow.

I probably should care more about whats happening politically but theres so much bullshit and politicians lining their pockets that I can't be asked with it all and just want to focus on my own life.
