Social Networking Continued - Twitter?

No apparently it was an actual DoS attack which targeted both Twitter (which completely buckled for a couple of hours) and Facebook (which was going pretty damn slow). Must've cost a fortune for whoever hired a botnet big enough to kill a social network for a couple of hours.

I signed up to be curious, found nothing of interest, so want to change my username to delete my account (you never know, I might go insane and want to use my username in the future). But the site just has a forever loading page then loads a blank page. Wank.
