Is there a good way of getting a scratch out of a side window? Some cunt has scratched a cross in my side window. I've seen on those Police Stop type programmes, chavs doing it to weaken the window before a smash and grab.

I was thinking jewellers rouge and a Dremel polishing disc. Or should I call auto windscreens.

I've got a load of small scratches in my pax window caused by the bloke who tried to get the tiny dent in the door out last year, and tbh I just left it as I think it'll be more ballache than it's worth to sort it. If I was going to get it done I think I'd just replace the whole glass, probably from a breakers if one was local enough I could view before paying for it.

I changed one of these today on the toilet in the duty free staff bogs. Took me 7 minutes, and that was by no means rushing and included a test fill and flush.

I can't do it without either taking the cistern off the wall or taking down the ceiling; I've got maybe 3 inches clearance from the top of the valve that I need to spanner off, which means not enough room to turn the spanner. I was thwarted before I began!
It looks like to take the cistern off the wall I just need to do the massive nut at the bottom that goes down to the toilet, and one of the nuts on the pipe at the bend on the side of the cistern. But I'm delving into unknown territory there.

I have stopped it leaking though, by putting an almighty amount of wrench torque on the stop tap, properly closing it. Yes, I was bricking it that I was going to break the stop tap but it appears all is well and I have no drips anywhere.
This plumbing lark is easy...!

I've never heard of chickens changing gender but I have heard of it in frogs and in that case where the genetic make up of a creature allows spontanious gender change for a reason that evolution has deemed useful then the animal is whatever gender it currently is. Also, in frogs at least, the organism is capable of reproduction before and after the change. That is not the case for humans who have the technology and lack of moral fortidude to endulge the whims of the mentally unstable.

Ever since seeing it in at the cinema.

Such a great score. John Williams really is a truely GREAT film composer. The scene where they're flying in on the helicopter. Magic. Proper movie magic. Love that film.

Nah it was just one showing sadly. The Prince Charles cinema [LINK], just off leicester square. It was a double feature with Jaws after it. Pretty cheap too if you are a member. They do alot of special nights and geeky film stuff.

The original Godzilla followed by King Kong on the big screen was great. And Alien followed by Predator. Great little cinema.

They tend to show most of the doubles like once or twice a year so keep an eye on the schedule, Jurassic Park'll probably pop back up at some point.

Just a bit annoyed that I missed Metropolis at midnight movies at the curzon soho last week. Never seen metropolis and that would have been a great way to see it for the first time. Live band etc.

EDIT: ACtually I checked the website, Jurassic Park is playing on the 30th of October and the 3rd of November.

But it's the fluffy, politically correct nature of "I support your choice" that I cannot abide and will not subscribe to. I don't support his choice. I think it's a sad state of affairs when the medical profession are basically saying that as long as a person is not dangerously mental then their delusion should be made real. And at the cost of the tax payer too. It may well be disrespectful but it's something that I cannot respect. Wanting something and believing something doesn't make it right.

Can you honestly see any doctor in the world cutting off someone's arms because they believed they shouldn't have arms and really wanted them gone? I just don't get how this has been allowed to become almost normal.

Besides which, the last documentary I watched on the subject stated that a tiny percentage of changers were actually happy after the change. If you're miserable as a man then you'll be miserable as a man with no cock too.

No it's not normal, it's bloody weird if you ask me, but then we used to burn people at the stake for being a witch if they had a period. It's tolerance of something that is real to a lot of people and does exist, whether we understand it or think it's weird or whatever.

As for Nana's link, that's genetics. Genetically she'll always be male. But to the outside world and everyone she interacts with and how she looks to herself she's a woman. That's more important than genetics.

They're not releasing the MIDI adaptor until the 26th of November, a whole month after the game comes out! Since I refuse to start the game and then change controls half way through, I'm going to have to wait a whole month extra until I can play it.
